We asked our parents to tell THEIR story, and here’s what they shared: “25 years ago, we sat across the kitchen table discussing and praying about how to stay together and honor God in our relationship. 7 days later at a Weather Report concert I presented Carla with a ring. On June 30, 1983 we eloped and were married for 6 months before anyone knew! Our nest is empty now, we have raised 4 exceptional children of our own, a host of spiritual children, and we have 5, (soon to be 6) grandchildren, the Lord kept his part of the agreement! A special “thank you”, to all who have contributed to our family over the years and kept us in the game. We have no words to express your value to us.” The world’s stage is set for our arrival and the best is yet to come!”

On their silver anniversary our parents decided to celebrate by embarking on their first Caribbean Jazz Cruise aboard the Holland America. They will spend 7 beautiful days touring the Islands of Grand Turks, St. Thomas and St. Bart’s (just to name a few).
