Paul and Linda met while still in high school in Elk City and Canute, Oklahoma. Paul was a soda jerk at the local pharmacy and Linda made sure she was a regular customer. They were married on August 1, 1961. Paul was in college and Linda had just graduated from high school, her school valedictorian. Paul finished his degree in pharmacy at Southwestern and Linda worked toward her degree while rearing their first two children, Rodney and Angela. They moved to Kansas in 1966 and bought a local pharmacy, Porter Rexall Drug which eventually became Paul's Pharmacy. Linda finished her degree and a subsequent master's degree in education while rearing two additional children, Dustin and Annett in Hugoton. They are now at home in Beloit, KS, and are proud grandparents of 8 grandchildren.

The O'Hara clan hails from Ireland, so this makes a perfect local to celebrate Paul and Linda's 50th wedding anniversary. While all the details are not yet made, the family is looking forward to helping Paul and Linda celebrate with their Irish heritage in full swing. The couple has traveled internationally, enjoying time in Germany, Austria, and Mexico, however, they have never been to Ireland, so this is a special trip to celebrate their 50 years of marriage!
