Julie Russell and Jamey Brophy met while in Anchorage both attending Bartlett High School. Julie was a gymnast at 15 years old and Jamey was a "Super Jock" at 17. They dated for a couple years then Christmas of 1975 Jamey asked John Russell for his permission to propose to his daughter. Julie said yes and 3 years later on May 20th, 1978 they were Wed.
Here we are 29 years later and their daughters Amber (1979), Bree (1981) and Kendall (1984) are planning their 30th Anniversary Party.
